Ladies tea set

Well I thought I would try something different (I get bored doing the same things lol!) I brought this box at Alley Palley and don't ask me why, I picked it up the other day and thought, "I know I will alter a tea set to go inside along with a little cute book"! Where do I get these ideas?? Anyway, I used paints to alter the set, and added some embellishments. For the box I colour washed it and added a paper top from DCWV, I then stamped the bottom edge of the box and added some embellishments to it. I used very thick chipboard for the book, some crafty individuals papers and ribbon. I must stay I am very happy with the result. xx

Sunday Stamper - Sisters

Sisters is the theme this week for the Sunday Stampers. I love using canvas so I decided to go with that this week. I prepared the canvas with Gesso and then coloured the background with light green ink. I stamped over the canvas with Olive Green stazon ink. I have used stampboard for the image, I love this stamp!!!, I coloured the stampboard in light green and stamped the image with Versamark ink. I scratched out some parts of the image. I then mounted the image on to the canvas and used some chipboard letters along the side. I finished with some crackle paint on the corners.

Canvas stamped painting

Well I have had a set of stamps since Alley Palley and I have been waiting to create something with them. First of all I covered a canvas using gesso and I then started to stamp, building up the picture I wanted. I blended in the inks to make the overall picture look hazy. I have to say I love the result!! I just hope you can see well enough in the pictures.

Sunday Stamper - Cats

Its a cats theme for Hels Angels Sunday Stamper this week. I have made a card. The stamped image is one of my favourites, I have used Adirondack ink pads (the ones with 4 colours in it). I then used chalks to blend the background. I then finished off with some grungeboard wings and a heart. The card stock it from crafty individuals.
