Baby Girl!

Hi everyone xx

This is my second entry in to the Shabby Tearoom's design call. It was inspired by my friends Linda and Hels, they make such beautiful canvas art, take a look and their blogs.

Well I started by painting my canvas with gesso and then white a pink acrylic paints. I used a baby wipe to get the aged effect.

I cut nine 2" squares from grunge paper and pink metal. I then put the grunge paper through the cuttlebug using a dot's embossing folder. I then painted the grunge board with white paint and brushed over it with vintage lipstick Tim Holtz ink pads using a baby wipe.

I put the nine metal square through the cuttlebug cutting little postage stamps and then back through with different embossing folders. The metal was wiped with white paint to age it a little.

I made a flower using a LLB stamp, stamped on to the metal, cut out and put together as you would using the grunge paper roses method.

I have used a memory capsule and 2" square metal frame and popped some pink beads in it and hung a little rocking horse from the bottom.

The centre has a book plate which I used a word for the TH ticket book and covered in crackle accents.

I also used some ribbon and put some wax over and used a baby's feet seal.

The little chipboard crown was from Maya Road covered in pink paint and topped with glittery pink embossing powder.

Added a few more embellishments and there you have it!

Hope you like it xxx Thanks for looking xxx
