2 Sisters Challenge No. 11

Challenge time over at The 2 Sisters Challenge Blog

The theme is, no design papers, make your own!

Our sponsor this week is Cowgirl UP! I was once on the Cowgirl Up posse, so being able to work with their images again was wonderful!

I have used promarkers to colour. The background was stamped using a Dawn Bobby stamp and Tim Holtz distress ink. I then embossed with Tim Holtz distress embossing powder.

The shape is made from Nestabilities. I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the buffer.

I edged the image with distress ink, then added the ribbon, attached using pins. I lastly added some gems.

The Character Cafe

It's challenge time over at The Character Cafe .

The theme is, Use orange, 3 circles and Ribbon.

I have used Promarkers to colour. I have inked around the image to make the white card a little softer. Used my favourite netties for the shape and my other favourite liquid pearls on the base.

I have then decided to keep it simple with a little bow complete with heart pin.

I hope you like it!

Now for a little sad news :0(, this will be my last card for The Character Cafe :0( xx I am having to step down for personal reasons but would like to thank all the girls for the wonderful time I have spent with them. THANK YOU!

I have used Promarkers to colour. I have used a Martha Stewart Punch for the corners and a round corner punch for the image corners.

Another Martha Stewart punch was used for the center divider. I then added some glitter leaves.

I have used Promarkers to colour. I have kept the colours bright as the image just calls out for bright colours!

I have used a punch for the flowers and little button brads in the center of the yellow flowers.

Liquid pearls are in the center of the pink flowers.

Bones - ATC

Hi !!

Well I haven't made an ATC for ages! So this weekend I thought I would have a little play.

I Started off with an ATC in stampboard. I used 2 Tim Holtz distress inks for the background.

I then Stamped over the colour in stazon black, this is a Tim Holtz stamp. I then used parts of the stamp stamp and stamped on to 3 pieces of glass fragments. I used glossy accents to glue over the same part on the ATC.

I then added a little crackle accents to the ATC.

I've have a wonderful time with this, I need more time to play!!

Anyway, I thought this ATC was perfect for the following to challenges:-

Cowgirl Up!

This is a sad day for me as I have had to step down from my DT position at Cowgirl Up . I have been very stressed with my paid job and I have had to make some hard decisions as to the teams I had to leave. I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed being on the team.

On with the challenge. It's make your own background paper. What a great challenge!




I got to use our wonderful sponsors image. I have used promarkers to colour. I have used Dawn Bibby sprays for the background. I then stamped usinga Dawn Bibby stamp and then traced with glossy accents and sprinkled with little beads. Added some flowers to finish.
