Sketch and Stash
While blog hopping I came across I great challenge blog Sketch and Stash It really encouraged me to have a rummage through my forgotten stash and mix it with my new! There was a great sketch to follow. I flipped it so my sentiment and flower were on the opposite sides to the sketch. I have used K & Co papers, mosaic pebbles and purple ribbon from my old forgotten stash. The flowers, gem brad and Peter Rabbit stamp are all new! The sentiment was also one I have had for ages and never used. The image is water coloured and the background of the image is filled in with chalks, both I have not used for about 2 years! Great challenge, hope you like it xx

100 weeks of Sunday Stamper!!!
I thought I might try something different for the Sunday Stampers special 100 weeks! I have stamped a tissue box for my entry. I painted the box and lid with bronze paint. I then stamped all over the box. I then used 3 different colour TH distress ink pads and applied the colours over the box highlighting different areas. I then finished off with a beautiful bird at the top. Thanks for looking and a big thank you to Hels for making a great Sunday challenge. xx

Just Magnolia Challenge
Hi Everyone! Today is my birthday! I had a couple of days off so I thought I might enjoy some challenges. Just Magnolia is one of my favourite blogs and I have not had the chance to do one of their challenges before, so here it is! I have used a stamp brought for me for my birthday by one of my good friends xx It was a great sketch to follow, there was a theme of "thank you" which I have used but it is hard to see on the card as it is a velum sicker. Its just above the image and to the right, it reads, "When someone cares, everything is easier. Thank you for caring". Hope you like it xx

I Love Pro Markers Challenge - Animals
This weeks challenge at I Love Pro Markers is Animals. I have used a Crissy Armstrong image this week and coloured in using my Promarkers. I love the image, so cute. I have made a folded card so the image pops up and looks like the bear has just floated down on the card. It was quite hard to photograph so I hope you can see the card properly. Bling !
This is not my usual style, if I have a style lol! But I wanted to make a thank you card for my sister who is always surprising me with new stash ;o) xx ( I got the idea from Dawn Bibby's DVD) It started as two scalloped pieces of card. I scored down the edge of one and then cut out a circle from the same piece of card. I then glued the two sides together to form the card. Added some butterflies and bling and we're done! Quite bling but I liked it xx

Melt Art
It was my friend Linda's birthday last month and I made her this card. I have used Tim Holtz masks and stamps along with misters. The main embellishment was made in my melt pot. The necklace I also made using my melt pot. I love this method and ended up make a pile of embellishments!
EDIT - Here are some much better pictures from Linda LOL!!! (see her comment) She told me off because I'm rubbish at putting pictures on my blog :-( (good job I like her LOL!) Thanks Linda xxxx

Sunday Stampers - Lace
Over on this weeks Sunday Stamper the theme is Lace. I have made a canvas for the challenge. It's the first time I have had a go at using wax. I started by colouring the canvas with Tim Holtz Peeled paint ink and then stamped in the same colour on to some tissue. I then laid it over the canvas and poured on the wax. I spread the wax over the whole canvas with a paint brush and kept it hot and melted with my heat gun. I'm not sure if that's how you use it but it seemed to work lol. The stamped image has a lace effect. I then added some embleshments I made using moulds and my melt pot. The bronze coloured ones are made with UTEE in Bronze and gold and the white ones are made with wax. I popped on some metal flowers which are from some cheap jewellery I brought to use on my craft projects. Added a grunge board swirl. I then finished up with some lace trimmed beading and rock candy crackle paint. Overall I like the effect and will use wax again although I wouldn't mind taking a class to see how you are supposed to use it lol!

I Love Pro Markers Challenge 8
Here is my entry for the I Love Pro Markers challenge.
I needed to do a birthday card for my sister in law and loved the layout of this challenge. The stamps I have used are a set of different cup cake fairies and you choose which one you want to sit on top of the cup cake. I masked off the fairy and stamped the cup cake over the top to look like she isleaning on the cake. Hope you like it.
