Little card - Thanks Dawn

This is an acceptance card for a friends wedding. I used an idea from Dawn Bibby's new DVD, I really love the effect. Thanks Dawn!

Hanging Christmas Art

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, work, work, work!
Here is something I made for a friend for Christmas. The frame is meant to be up the other way with the Point at the top but thought it looked good the other way up as a hanging piece. I took out the glass centre and used 3 layers of embossing powder and stamped in to the powder with a TH Christmas Stamp.
The frame has been covered using Terra and then stamped into while wet and then dried. You get a great effect when drying with a heat gun as you can get bubbles forming. The frame was then covered with gesso and coloured using paints.
I used a word from the TH tickets and put the little frame around it and used crackle glaze over the top.
The reindeer's are wooden and were covered in paint and stamped then crackled and finished off with some metal embellishments.
I added some little doors, which were painted and a little hanger for the top.
Overall I really love the results, I hope my Friend did too. xx

40th Wedding

I haven't made a "book a trix" card for such a long time. Thought it would make a nice anniversary card. I was asked to make this for a friend. They were really pleased with the results and I have since been asked to make another one!

Hope you like it xxx
